The post holder will support and assist midwives in the delivery of holistic, high quality; evidence based antenatal and postnatal care to women/ childbearing people, babies and families and their families. experience of working within the NHS an advantage.
The post holder will undertake unsupervised aspects of care and therapeutic intervention as delegated by the midwife, within agreed guidelines and sphere of responsibility.
Main duties of the job
This role provides support to Midwives ensuring that women receive high standards of maternity care throughout our service.
You must possess excellent communication and team working qualities with a willingness to learn new skills, with full training and support provided, and also have the ability to work under your own initiative and as part of the multi-professional team.The post holder will be required to work a shift pattern that covers nights, weekends and Bank holidays.
