Job summary

We are seeking to appoint Bank Receptionists to cover our busy Emergency Management Unit/AFU, Same Day Emergency Care Wards, ED and Out of Hours Admissions.

Various shifts and patterns. Days/Nights

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive clerical co-ordination service and to receive patients across the divisions wards. To ensure that patients and visitors receive a friendly, customer focussed and efficient service. The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

  • Maintaining a professional front of house image.
  • Providing efficient administration support to the ward.
  • Liaising with patients, outside agencies and other services / departments within the trust in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
