Job summary
To support and develop the clinical learning environment for medical students, under the guidance of the current band 7 matron for Undergraduate Medical Learning Placements.
You are required to have a minimum of 12 months experience within a Surgical environment.
To work with and support the other Clinical Education Teams where necessary.
Main duties of the job
Delivering clinical skills teaching to Undergraduate Medical students, both in the classroom and clinical area.
Provide supervision and sign off for specific procedural skills within their own level of competency.
Provide pastoral support for learners on placement.
Work with the UG administrator and UG leads to plan placement activities.
