The East Midlands Acute Providers Digital Design Collaborative (EMAP DDC)
The Digital Design Collaborative (DDC) is a group of NHS Acute Trusts in the East Midlands Region of England who have come together to strategically plan and collaborate on their collective digital transformation journey, with the ambition to strategically operate as one health care system.

The DDC member organisations have embarked on a digital excellence journey to implement a nationally leading Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system that will transform the quality of care for their patients and staff by having instantly accessible information using the latest mobile technology, reducing paper usage and utilising clinical decision support tools.

Main duties of the job
Initially based at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL), flexibility is required across the three main hospital sites (Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital). Excess travel reimbursement would not apply for a permanent or temporary change of base across these sites.
As the EPR Digital Systems Training Designer and a member of the EMAP DDC team, you will work to successfully implement the training and support for the launch of the EPR systems for the EMAP DDC partner organisations. Working across the EMAP DDC sites to support the creation and development of training material in a multi-faceted environment.

- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Diploma level qualification in Multimedia related studies, IT or Audio Visual, or equivalent experience.
- IT Qualification to ECDL certificate level or equivalent gained through training and equivalent experience.
Desirable
- A Training / Development qualification at Level 4 or higher.
- Specialist knowledge and training on virtual learning environments.
- oTraining in a highly technical field.
