Job summary

DSFS Limited are looking for a dynamic enthusiastic E-Procurement and Data Analyst to join the Procurement team to deliver taking the lead for analysis of procurement related data, our purchase to pay and e-procurement system development as well as the development of catalogue management functions to drive down cost and drive QUALITY of performance up.

Main duties of the job

Analyse and Research Data

Analyse spend data to:

  • Predict future spend patterns
  • Review non purchase order spend
  • Research and identify contractual leakage
  • Evaluate the reasons why invoices are not being paid on time
  • Produce information and offer advice regarding benchmarking and product switching
  • Assist in the delivery of standardisation and rationalisation of stock across the Trust

Analyse and research data to deliver:

  • Year on year improvements in cost, whilst maintaining quality
  • Transparent decision making
  • Addition of relevant new catalogue items
  • Improvements in relation to supplier management

  • Data Analyst Apprenticeship (Level 4) or equivalent
  • ECDL or equivalent experience
  • Excel advanced training

Desirable

  • Project Management Prince 2 Foundation
  • ILM Level 4 or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced level (or equivalent) qualifications in mathematics, ICT, statistics, or economics

  • Significant experience of working with data, and using data to make business intelligent decisions and improve services
