Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DSFS Finance team as the new Head of Financial Systems. We are looking for a motivated team player who is pro-active, enthusiastic and who delivers results.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, you will be responsible for the management, development and performance of the finance and procurement system and financial reporting solutions used across the Group, which includes the Trust and DSFS (a wholly-owned subsidiary company).
This role holds key responsibility for leading and providing technical expertise on any future system implementations and upgrades, and managing ongoing system enhancements and development activities.
The post holder will work closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure that high quality financial and procurement services are underpinned by integrated, effective systems which make full use of available technologies. Also, working closely with stakeholders across the business to evolve the platform to drive change and underpin business success.
The role will also support users of the systems, providing specialist knowledge of business systems and processes.
The team operates a hybrid working model of 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home each week. The role is advertised as full time permanent, however, we are open to conversations around other flexible options.
