Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to work closely with the wider Education Teams and the divisions, to use their knowledge, skills, and expertise to contribute to the practice learning environment by providing point of care support, education, training and guidance for pre-registration healthcare professional learners and those clinical staff acting as a practice supervisor or assessor.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be based within the Practice Learning Team, but will work closely with our clinical staff and in partnership with our Higher Education Institution (HEI) partners.
The focus of this role is to enable learners to make sense of their clinical learning experiences and to develop skills which improve confidence and capability, enabling them to achieve their learning goals and proficiencies.
Qualified to degree level or equivalent, you will be a registered midwife with experience of working in a band 6 within clinical practice or a senior role outside of clinical practice supporting, assessing and training midwifery learners.
