Job summary

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated CT Radiographers to join our CT department. We have 3 CT scanners, 2 based on our main site at Calow and a mobile CT scanner based at Walton community hospital. CRH would be your base hospital, however you would rotate through both sites.

The work pattern would be Mon - Sun, 8am - 8pm, doing 3 long shifts a week, with a make up shift every 8 weeks. Participation in Bank holiday is expected after adequate training and there is the opportunity to join the nightshift rota.

Previous CT experience is highly desirable, although additional training will be provided, to include ILS.

There is a wide variety of scans undertaken including A/E, Orthopaedics, Colons and Cardiacs, We are committed to developing our team, promote CPD and are always looking to learn and develop our service provision. This is a great time to join us!

Main duties of the job

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Radiographers with a background in CT.

You will be based at CRH and rotate between the Mobile CT scanner and the static department,

The CT Department covers a variety of procedures including Neurology, Orthopaedic, Oncology, GI and Vascular, plus more specialised examinations such as CT Colonography, CT Cardiacs, Biopsies and Interventional procedures.

There is provision of CT for wards and A/E and there is an expectation to participate in the OOH cover at weekends and nights.

IV cannulation is a core skill requirement

You are expected to provide training and support for colleagues, junior radiographers and students that rotate through the department.
