Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join The Den Out-patients Department. The Den is a very busy Outpatients department looking after Children aged 0-16 years old. Working with children and families preferably within a health care setting would be advantageous.
You will need to be able to work within the acute hospital environment and be responsible for allocated children 's care. You will liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent care delivery for your children.
Main duties of the job
The main duty of a Health Care Assistant is to assist the qualified nursing staff in meeting the identified needs of each patient, in a safe and competent manner.
The Health Care Assistant, with the other members of the multi-disciplinary team, will provide a quality service and ensure the highest possible Standards of care are maintained at all times.
