Job summary

15 Hours per week

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for helping the Nursing team to ensure the Patients receive adequate nutrition and hydration and reporting any concerns to the senior member of staff. You will also be responsible for helping to keep the environment clean, tidy and well stocked.

Main duties of the job

Assist in handing out meals at teatimes and documenting dietary intake on food charts. Ensuring the Patients have access to fresh water and other drinks assisting them as required. Running errands to other departments within the Hospital as requested by the Nursing team. Ensuring the ward environment is tidy and the equipment is clean and ready for use. Identifying any problems and liaising with appropriate departments such as estates.
