Endoscopy Waiting list and Administration Manager

37.5 hours per week

Join our dedicated Endoscopy team at Rotherham Hospital and play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care. As the Waiting List and Admin Manager, you will oversee the accuracy and validation of patient pathways, ensuring compliance with national and local access targets including DM01. Working within Care Group 1, youll collaborate closely with clinical, operational and administrative colleagues to improve data quality, optimise capacity, and enhance patient flow.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Youll lead on validating waiting list information, identifying pathway risks, supporting booking processes, and driving improvements across systems and workflows. Youll also support booking teams and liaise directly with patients, often in a clinical environment, requiring confidence, empathy and professionalism.

Based within the Endoscopy Unit, the role may involve occasional work across other Trust sites depending on service need. If you are motivated, adaptable, and passionate about improving patient experience, wed love you to join our team.

Main duties of the job

In this role, youll ensure patients move smoothly through their endoscopy journey by keeping administrative processes coordinated, reliable and patientfocused. Youll be the key link between booking teams, clinical staff and operational managers, helping everyone stay aligned so that patients receive clear communication, timely appointments and a positive experience.

Youll use your strong organisational skills to keep systems running efficiently, spot issues before they escalate and support colleagues in following best practice. This includes guiding staff, offering solutions to daytoday challenges and helping the team maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Youll also handle patient queries with empathy and confidence, often in a busy clinical environment.
