As an Endoscopy porter you will be responsible for supporting your manager in ensuring that patient flow is met within the Endoscopy Department.
Main Duties
- The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering a range of designated tasks/duties of a clinical and non- clinical nature including personal compassionate care to patients, working within agreed policy and procedures.
- Responsible for the moving and handling of patients between the department, wards and other relevant departments.
- Responsible for the transport of medical equipment, specimens, linen, beds, blood products, hazardous substances, drugs and fluids between the Endoscopy Department and relevant service areas.
- Cleaning of clinical areas as necessary within the department.

The post holder will work under the supervision of the NMC/AHP Registrant at all times, who holds delegated accountability for the work designated.
