Are you a high-performing Emergency Nurse with a passion for clinical excellence and the leadership 'spark'? We are seeking a Band 7 Nursing Team Leader for permanent full time and part time position to join our fast paced Urgent and Emergency Care Centre This role is a unique hybrid, designed for a clinician who loves the 'front line' but is ready to shape the future of our service through operational management and staff development. You will be the heartbeat of the department, ensuing that while the service is busy, the care remains world class. We are looking for a resilient, decisive, and empathetic leader. You thrive under pressure, can navigate difficult conversations and possess a 'can do' attitude towards challenges. Please note: interviews will be the week commencing 2nd March 2026. It is unlikely that an alternative time/date can be offered.

Main duties of the job

Clinical expertise - demonstrating floor leadership; advanced care - leading by example; mentorship - act as a clinical resource for colleaguesManagement & leadership - team growth - support professional development, appraisals; quality & safety - lead on clinical audits, incident investigations to ensure we are constantly learning and improving; operational strategy - work closely with the team to implement new pathways and support departmental 4 hour performance.
