We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to lead and deliver our Medicines Homecare Service. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality, patient-centred service that supports efficient medicines procurement and homecare delivery across the Trust.

  • To participate in, manage and oversee the Pharmacy Homecare service to internal and external customers
  • To lead the provision of a high quality, safe, cost-effective, efficient service pertaining to homecare services
  • To support the provision of a full pharmaceutical service to Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust by maintaining a high quality, patient-centred, clinical pharmacy service at ward and department level.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead and manage the Pharmacy Homecare Service, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and efficient operations.
  • Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters, particularly in medicines procurement and homecare.
  • Drive service development initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Support clinical pharmacy services at ward and departmental level.
  • Line manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
