Senior Occupational Therapist Enablement

The Community Occupational Therapy Service and Enablement OT Service are based within Adult Social Care and work from locality bases. The Enablement Service is provided by Rotherham Borough Council and aims to support people to reach their maximum level of independence and meet their individual goals. The OTs work with the Enablement Team to carry out a range of activities to ensure that people receiving the Enablement service have the best opportunity to achieve their goals. Their roles include triaging referrals, providing advice and equipment, conducting manual handling assessments, and reviewing enablement support. They also produce enablement plans, working with the person themselves and enablers to develop a therapy plan to build confidence, strength and/or ability to complete a task as independently as possible. We have the opportunity for a full time Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join the Enablement Occupational Therapy Service.
