Job summary

The Intelligence Business Partner links Care Groups with the Health Informatics department, ensuring data and insights are accurate, accessible and meaningful. This enables teams to plan, prioritise and deliver their work with confidence. You will provide information leadership and guidance to Care Group 3 (Family Health) and Care Group 4 (Community Services), supporting Trust priorities and external reporting. The role involves working with clinical and nonclinical data to produce clear, practical insights that inform decisions and improve services. This is a leadership role with line management responsibility for a small team. You will set priorities aligned to Care Group needs and oversee delivery of highquality analytics, working closely with service teams and information specialists. We offer hybrid working (minimum 40% officebased), flexible hours, and support for worklife balance. Working pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the Head of Business Intelligence Analytics in delivering high quality internal and external reporting, primarily for Care Group 3 (Family Health) and Care Group 4 (Community Services). The post holder will act as the main information link between the Care Groups and the Intelligence team, developing a strong understanding of service needs, performance challenges, and reporting requirements. The role focuses on delivering meaningful insight to support safe, effective patient care and service improvement. You will work with complex clinical and nonclinical data from multiple sources to produce clear, meaningful reports, dashboards and presentations. A core part of the role is helping managers and clinicians understand data, explore performance variation, benchmark services and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and compliance. You will also contribute to timely and accurate reporting, data quality and governance, business cases and service development. The role includes promoting automation and selfservice reporting, as well as delivering training and guidance on analytical tools. In addition, you will provide daytoday leadership for a small team, supporting development, managing performance, setting objectives and maintaining effective processes and documentation. You may use AI to support your application, but we encourage you to show your individuality and enthusiasm for the role.
