Job summary

We are looking for a Band 6 Nurse Team Leader for our Inpatient Haematology Ward. We are looking for experienced Haematology Nurses who wish to develop their career within Clinical Haematology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who has current experience in Haematology and has a desire to lead and support a team.

This role is for 30 hours per week

Main duties of the job

The appointed person will ensure that we provide an environment and culture that continually aims to deliver excellent care and a good experience for our patients that is safe, effective, well led, caring and responsive as well as offering a really positive learning experience for colleagues and learners. You will be responsible for Audits, selected PDR's, education and development of junior staff and students. Where necessary deputising for the Ward Manager.
