Porter Care Support Worker

Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Endoscopy Porter to join our friendly team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

You must be hard working, punctual and be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. You must have good communication skills and a positive work attitude.

The post is for 34 hours per week to be worked over 4 days 9am to 6pm.

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the Endoscopy unit you will play an essential role in the transporting of patients and equipment safely and efficiently within the hospital. This includes the movement of patients before and after procedures, ensuring store rooms and the unit is clean and tidy.

You will take guidance and instructions from senior members of the team to help ensure the continuous running of the department.
