Apprentice Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Job summary

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Pharmacy Department is seeking an exceptional candidate to join the team as an apprentice pre-registration pharmacy technician. If you have a keen interest in Maths, Science, and you would like the opportunity to work towards becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician. You may be interested in a two-year apprenticeship training scheme available at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

Successful candidates will attend College through virtual classroom teaching on a day release basis to undertake the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians qualification.

Main duties of the job

The post offers 2 years comprehensive training in all aspects of pharmacy services on a rotational basis. Individuals will need to be highly organised and motivated and be capable of meeting multiple deadlines.

We will expect applicants to have an understanding of the role of a Pharmacy Technician (or have previous experience of working in a pharmacy).

To be eligible for consideration for a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician interview, you must meet all essential criteria including: 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or grade C or above, including English Language, Maths and a Science

Applicants MUST have the required minimum qualifications and will be asked to email photos of original certificates before interview,(predicted grades for school leavers on official letter headed school/college paper) and be available from September 25.
