Based at Woodside Rotherham

A Part Time Clerical Assistant Band 2 Permanent post has arisen to join the Wound Care Service within Tissue Viability Services. Supporting Community Clinical Services GP Practices and Nursing Homes.

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants will be the central point of access for the Wound Care Service and work as part of a team to ensure the service is run efficiently and productively this will include travelling to various areas of Rotherham. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the county and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

You will be required to undertake a wide range of administrative and clerical support within the service ensuring confidentiality maintained at all times. The job role will also require an amount of manual handling due to the nature of the posts.

Applicants must have experience of working with a wide range of people, able to work as part of a team and possess excellent verbal, written communication and IT skills, typing/word processing or equivalent as well as experience of Microsoft Office. The successful candidate must also be able to work independently have the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work on their own initiative.
