Job summary
30 hours per week
As an Admin Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting the administrative team while also actively contributing to frontline administrative work. You will manage daily workloads, oversee staff rotas, leave, and sickness, and provide regular performance management through appraisals, training, and mentoring. Acting as the key point of contact between the admin team and senior staff, you will attend meetings, support service planning, and help resolve day-to-day operational issues. You will ensure compliance with relevant policies, including data protection and health and safety, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to service development and project work as required.
Main duties of the job
- This role will oversee the day to day management of the A6 day unit Ward Team.
- Overall responsibility will be ensuring reception areas look professional at all times,
- The Team Leader will also be need to make sure staff are fully trained and effectively led to deliver a good patient experience
- The post holder will oversee the management of reception, booking appointments using scheduling, shared email box and transfers
- The post holder will be responsible for the first line management of the staff within the team and the management of sickness and performance including annual appraisals.
- The Team Leader will combine supervision of team with front line work as part of the team
