An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CT Department Assistant to work within the Department of Clinical Radiology.
Applications are invited from individuals who have experience of working within a health care environment. The successful candidate will be required to support the Radiology Team in providing high standards of care to patients who attend for CT examinations
The post includes supporting patients and undertaking procedures relevant to the role. The post holder will be expected to undertake duties of intravenous cannulation. You must be able to communicate well with patients, members of the public as well as all members of staff within the multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants must have NVQ Level 3 in Health or Social Care or equivalent. A pleasant and caring manner and the ability to work as part of a team is essential to the role.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, professionalism and a flexible approach to work in order to deliver excellent patient care and provide an efficient service. The working day consists of a varied mix of inpatients and outpatients and excellent team work is vital in order to deliver this service.
