Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Radiographer to join our friendly team in The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Clinical Radiology department.

As a Radiographer on the Plain Film department you will be responsible for providing an efficient and high standard of practice, utilising high quality Radiography skills.

You will be expected to have a high standard of professional knowledge and excellent communication skills ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

You will be expected to work as part of a friendly and effective team. You will participate in 7/7 working pattern incorporating shift work and covering staff sickness.

A flexible approach to these working patterns will be expected.

Main duties of the job

To carry out all required imaging examinations, ensuring policies and protocols are closely followed.

To work as part of the Clinical Radiology team, providing a high quality service.

To maintain a high degree of professionalism with other healthcare workers and ensure excellent communication skills with both staff and patients.

To participate in 7/7 working covering out of hours and sickness.

To ensure that CPD is up to date, in line with HCPC recommendations and support departmental Quality Improvement initiatives.

To participate in multi professional audit.

  • State Registration (HCPC)

Knowledge

  • Evidence of training in all radiographic techniques
