Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join General Surgery as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. We are a well-established team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners who have been a part of the General Surgical Division for over 10 years. You will be working as part of the Surgical Team providing face to face patient care, leadership, expertise, advice and support to the UECC, Surgical Assessment Unit and Surgical Wards ensuring the provision of high quality care from the first point of contact. Our Advanced Clinical Practitioners are expected to participate in teaching, service improvement, and audit and have opportunities to develop procedural skills and special interests. The successful Trainee Practitioner will be supported with fully funded training to obtain your MSc in Advanced Practice. We are keen to appoint a Trainee Advanced Practitioner with previous experience in a surgical background but are happy for applicants from wider nursing background to also apply. The successful candidate will be provided with a robust induction and personal development plan to meet their professional needs whilst working closely with all the ACP as well as Consultant Clinical Supervisor/Educator.
