If so we would love to hear from you. South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw (SYB), under the umbrella of the Integrated Care System (ICS), is looking to recruit enthusiastic newly qualified registered nurses who can provide high quality, nursing care at one of 5 NHS trusts within the SY&B region:
- Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust
- Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust
- The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
- Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust - Intermediate Care Wards and Community Health Care services only
- Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Here at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust we are looking to recruit highly motivated, Newly Registered Adult and Childrens Nurses to help us achieve our Trust values of Ambitious, Caring, Together (ACT).
We have recently achieved national accreditation for our Preceptorship programme, which includes an introduction to quality improvement, a focus on your health, wellbeing and restorative clinical supervision.
Main duties of the job
Our Preceptorship programme also supports our newly developed career pathway, using The Rotherham Forest Trees. Registered Adult Nurse have opportunities in Emergency Care, Surgery, Medicine and our Community Localities. Registered Childrens Nurses have opportunities including Childrens Ward, Neonatal Unit, Childrens Emergency Care and Childrens Outpatients. There may also be opportunity for a rotational post between the ward and Childrens Emergency Care. Our continued professional development offer is also built around your education and development needs, wherever you want your future career to go
We offer flexible working from the start of your career at TRFT and support from a strong team of Professional Nurse Advocates who provide restorative clinical supervision and career conversations. Once you have completed your Preceptorship, we also offer a sideways transfer scheme so you dont need to go through an application process for a job on the same banding
We are expanding our clinical teams who use Team-Rostering. This allows you to have a voice in the development of your teams safe and effective roster. Team-Rostering also allows some personal flexibility in what shifts you chose to work
We have also been shortlisted for Nursing Times Workforce Awards for the completion of our new modern staff changing rooms. We have also recently achieved menopause accreditation, evidencing our work on culture, practice, policy, engagement and facilities
