We are looking to recruit a highly motivated enthusiastic Nurse to join our Nurse-led Pregnancy Advice Service/Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit.Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, be committed to delivering high standards of care, and be prepared to take on the challenge of supporting and developing the unit. A genuine interest & experience in this speciality is essential.The successful candidate will be required to be flexible in their working environment which may involve working within both areas.

Main duties of the job

Pregnancy Advisory Service (PAS) is a dedicated unit for women and girls who are considering termination of pregnancy.We offer a completely confidential patient-centred service run by nurses. We will guide women through their options in a sensitive, non-judgmental manner and provide compassionate and supportive care which enables them to make informed decisions.Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit provides care and support for patients with problems in early pregnancy including pain /bleeding and pregnancy loss and requires staff to provide compassion and understanding during highly stressful times.We strive to be open and honest and to listen to feedback, responding accordingly to continuously improve our service.We are a small unit with a very friendly atmosphere & welcome any candidates that possess the required skills and who will bring a positive approach to our working environment.
