Job summary
We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Stroke Unit Nursing team.
We are known as a really friendly team and work together with the Patient, Family, Therapist, Doctors and Volunteers to provide rehab to Patients. This job would be ideal for someone wanting to gain experience with Stroke patients and and enjoys the holistic care of Patients.
There are extra activities to be involved with such as tea parties, tai chi and taking Patients to the garden. This role is something a bit different and we encourage anyone that is looking for something special and can bring enthusiasm and passion to the role.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have good communication skills and maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out Nursing procedures. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the Patient experience. The Stroke Unit cares for a variety of Patients with complex conditions and needs post stroke and requires specialist skills and knowledge to aid and maximise their recovery. It is an multi-disciplinary team and the successful candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
