Job summary
An exciting opportunity to be part of a new Quality Improvement (Qi) team. Working closely with the Head of Quality Improvement the post of Improvement Practitioner will lead the planning, organisation and support of improvement projects, provide facilitation and coaching to teams involved in improvement work, guiding them through using the appropriate tools and techniques best suited to the work they are doing.You will utilise improvement tools as appropriate and support the delivery of all levels of Quality Improvement training offered by the Trust.You will have experience of undertaking improvement work in your own area and be trained in an improvement methodology.
Main duties of the job
This post will be expected to support the Head of Qi in expanding the improvement culture across TRFT.As Improvement Practitioner this post will provide specialist advice and support for Qi work across the trust. You will work closely with staff of all levels providing coaching and support for them undertaking Qi work.You will need to be trained in an improvement methodology and have utilised this in your area of work.You will be a key member of the faculty delivering QI training at all levels to differing staff groups.You will also support the planning and delivery of Quality Improvement events and workshops of varying scales taking attendees through the improvement process and following up their outputs after the events.You will also be the lead for QSIR practitioner action learning sets or virtual cafes for staff with this level of training, answering questions and providing guidance where needed
