Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join the surgical division at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, working on the new Elective and Emergency General Surgery and Urology Ward of Sitwell.
Sitwell Ward is a 14 bedded elective/emergency surgical ward looking after patients from a wide range of specialities including general surgery and urology. We are a new supportive, hard-working, friendly surgical team with a desire to deliver high quality care to our patients and move our service forward. The post holder will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment and pride yourself on ensuring patients have the best experience/care then this is the job for you. Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate should have post registration experience ideally in a surgical environment, be motivated and enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, and be a team player. The ideal candidate should wish to consolidate/develop their surgical and clinical skills to strive and provide high quality person-centred care to our patients from admission to discharge. They should also be committed to sharing their skills and knowledge with new and junior staff, and the wider team.
