An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join the general surgical division on B10 at The Rotherham NHS Foundation trust, working with both elective and emergency surgical patients.
Ward B10 is a 22 bedded, busy elective/emergency surgical ward looking after patients from a wide range of specialities including general surgery, urology and maxillofacial. We have a friendly, well-established surgical team with whom we work with daily to provide high quality care to our patients. The post holder will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment.

Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate should have post registration experience ideally in a surgical environment, be motivated and enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, wish to consolidate/develop their surgical skills as well as other skills and provide high quality person-centered care to our patients from admission to discharge. They should be dedicated to sharing their skills and knowledge with new and junior staff.
