An exciting opportunity has become available for a 36 month period and it is hoped that we can recruit a dynamic candidate to support the delivery of the Place workforce and people priorities.

This is an exciting dynamic role and a perfect opportunity for a talented individual to develop whole system leadership, strategic approach, and delivery experience at the forefront of national policy around an integrated health and care workforce agenda, working across the Rotherham and the South Yorkshire Integrated Care System.

N.B - As this is a 36 month secondment opportunity, the successful candidate must have approval from line manager and their organisation

Main duties of the job

This post will work across the Rotherham Place partners to progress the agreed collective priorities for the Place workforce, working closely with the Workforce/OD Enabling Group (WEG) to drive and implement improvements and place-based solutions to workforce challenges in line with the Place Plans and the NHS People Plan. The post holder will be a key link into, and an integral member of, the South Yorkshire Integrated Care Systems workforce hub, ensuring cohesion and integration between the place (Rotherham) and system (SY ICB) work plans, and sharing good practice across the other 3 places that form the SY ICS.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with the confidence to work in a pressurised environment where the ability to reach pragmatic and innovative solutions is essential.
