Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapists to join our friendly and passionate team. Within this role you will be responsible for providing high quality specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment, for patients with spinal and peripheral pathologies, including complex musculoskeletal conditions. The musculoskeletal team includes Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Support Workers and we receive referral from primary care, including our First Contact Physiotherapy colleagues.

To apply for this role, you must have a broad range of postgraduate experience and personal development, including recent work within the musculoskeletal / orthopaedic specialities, and be committed to delivering high quality, compassionate patient care.

You will be expected to have an active role in your own development and contribute to the provision of supervision and peer support for Physiotherapists, Therapy support staff and Physiotherapy students.

The successful applicants will be working autonomously in the Therapy Services Outpatient Departments and locality clinics across the Rotherham Borough, Rotherham Hospital, The Park Rehabilitation Centre and The Rotherham Community Health Centre. We offer extended working hours within the outpatient departments, which includes weekday evenings.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate high quality musculoskeletal assessment and treatment provision to a wide range of patients, running a caseload of patients and maintaining associated records.

To be involved in supervision of students, junior and support staff

To have an active approach to service development and contribute to a specialist high standard physiotherapy service working to meet trust objectives and key performance indicators.
