Job summary
We are
looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our
Consultant General Team based at The Rotherham General Hospital.
The
Consultant General team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a progressive
and dynamic team comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist and
Support workers.
Within
this team we have sub-specialities such as Orthopaedics (Upper limb peripheral,
post-operative hips and shoulders) Hand Therapy, A&E, Pelvic Health,
Occupational Health, Rheumatology and Occupational Therapy
Please note this post is30 hours and you will need to be able to work
Tuesday and a Friday as part of the working pattern
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have a
caseload biased towards the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of
Orthopaedics (Upper limb peripheral, post-operative hips and shoulders) and Hand
Therapy. You must have a broad range of postgraduate experience and personal
development, including recent work within the musculoskeletal / orthopaedic
specialities.
We assess, treat and rehabilitate
Conservative and Non-Conservatively managed patients that have been referred
from Orthopaedic Consultants, Out of area (Cons and AHP) and fellow AHPs.
We actively support and encourage
continuous professional development. You will be expected to have an active
role in your own development alongside contributing to the provision of
supervision and peer support for Physiotherapists, Therapy support staff and
Physiotherapy students.
