An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well established friendly team for a deputy charge nurse/sister.
We are a 16 bedded Respiratory respiratory ward. We care for patients with a variety of respiratory conditions including pulmonary fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Asthma, Pneumonia, lung cancer, pneumonia and respiratory failure.
You will be working days only and be expected to support junior staff whilst leading the team on a daily basis.

The post holder will be:
An experienced clinical nurse, who would like to undertake a band 6 role, to further develop their existing clinical and leadership skills. Experience within respiratory medicine is essential.
The successful candidate will be part of the senior team. We have a band 6 nurse available 24/7 and as such you will be expected to be in charge of the unit. You will need to have the clinical and managerial skills to assist you. We can provide training and support to allow you to do this.
