Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the continuously growing Respiratory, Sleep and NIV physiology team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust for a Respiratory and Sleep physiologist.
Are you a recent graduate of the BSc Healthcare Science Degree (respiratory and sleep option) looking for a permanent post to further develop your role - then this post is definitely worth applying for.
The post holder will mainly work at City campus but cross town working at QMC campus is also part of the job plan to ensure experience is gain in all respiratory and sleep physiological measurements performed at NUH. There is also a program of CPD to support you in having the pre-requisite requirements for higher banded roles in the future.

- ARTP Practitioner qualification
- Minimum 3yrs experience working at AFC Band 4/5 level in a respiratory/sleep department
- currently performing the range of respiratory and sleep investigations listed in the job description
Desirable
- completion of leadership training course
- documented evidence of working as a trainee physiologist
- evidence of completing respiratory physiology reports
- evidence of organising own activity around other clinical commitments
- evidence of ability to cope under stressful situations

- Knowledge of Quality and Infection Control Procedures pertaining to Respiratory / Sleep Physiology
- Ability to use Trust PAS systems (Nerve Centre, Notis, WebHiss for eg)
