Job summary
We are seeking to appoint 1 full-time Locum Consultant Body Radiologist with an interest in UroGynae Imaging at Nottingham University Hospitals to ensure continuity of the service to support the local and regional demand for UroGynae imaging.
The successful applicant will share responsibility with other colleagues for the provision of all aspects of Body and UroGynae imaging in our Trust with possible future expansion to the Trusts within the regional network.
Main duties of the job
To provide, along with Consultant colleagues, a comprehensive elective and emergency on-call service related to Uroradiology and acute cross cover to general radiology service. Subject to individual candidate interest and capacity, involvement in Gynae MDT and reporting can be arranged. There will be an opportunity to be involved in the Skin MDT if interested..
The posts include sessions for reporting time for MRI and CT, performing ultrasound andundertaking fluoroscopy guided procedures and participation in multidisciplinary meetings.
The successful candidate will be expected to become an effective member of the team of Body/Uroradiologists, to be responsible for the care of patients in their charge and to participate in teaching, research, audit and continuing professional development.

However the department is delighted to entertain expressions of interest from individuals who will be within 6 months of attaining CCT or aiming to submit CESR at 12 months time frame. CESR support is available.
The post will be primarily located at the City campus although the successful applicant will be required to provide sessions at the sites where we provide an Uroradiology service.
A successful applicant would be required to be part of a dedicated Diagnostic Body on call rota with a current frequency of 1:10.
