Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and friendly Childrens Therapy team.
We have a full time permanent opportunity available (37.5 hours/week) working Monday-Friday. Part time posts are welcome too, working Monday-Wednesday (18.75hours/week) or Wednesday - Friday (18.75 hours/week).
The post is part of the Band 6 Pediatric Physiotherapy rotation and could include working in the areas of Neurosciences, Oncology, MSK, Acute Respiratory, and Neonates .
It will include both in-patient and out-patient caseloads depending on the team you are in.
You will be based at the QMC campus, however when rotated to Neonates you could be covering this post on the City campus.
The successful post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Therapy Services, which will include rostered duties on the emergency on-call rota (4.15pm to 8.15am) and weekend working rota too.
Necessary training will be provided.

Liaising with nurse specialists, MDT and community services.
Physiotherapy management of paediatric patients with a variety of conditions in both an inpatient and outpatient setting as dictated by the needs of the service.
You will have excellent communication and team working skills and will also have a passion about working with children.
The post has a requirement that you manage and support Band 5's, Support Staff and Students on Clinical Placement allowing you to develop your leadership, managerial and teaching skills.

The Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH) is based at the Queens Medical Centre campus and is part of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH). We provide In-patient and out-patient care for children up to the age of 19 years old.
The Children's Therapy team at NCH is a friendly and supportive department who work closely alongside the wider MDT, providing excellent evidence based care and innovative ways of working.
Throughout NUH we have a diverse range of AHP and support staff who work together to deliver the high quality care we aspire to supported by our Chief AHP to lead us on our strategic direction.
