Job summary
We seek to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
This post would suit an individual with either a CCT in cardiology sub-specialising in CRM or a trainee within their final two years of CRM sub-specialty training (OOPE).
The CIED programme is comprehensive and includes conventional transvenous and leadless bradycardia pacing, conventional, subcutaneous and extra-vascular ICD implants, CRT and conduction system pacing.
Main duties of the job
Suitably qualified candidates will participate mainly in the department's cardiac implantable electrical device (CIED) program.
The electrophysiology program includes simple and complex ablation (left atrial ablation, abnormal heart ventricular tachycardia ablation).There is a lead extraction service and an inherited cardiac conditions service run in collaboration with the Clinical Geneticsdepartment.
There will be opportunity to participate in departmental research activities and the successful candidate will be encouraged to develop their own research activity.
