Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff who can join a team of well established training Officers as well as several new members of staff. The post holder will be line managing staff who will be responsible for the delivery of training for the new Nervecentre modules (to replacement current careflow functionality) and support the National Rehabilitation Center (NRC) and Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC). The NRC is implementing new technologies and digital solutions as pilot projects and likely first-of-type initiatives. . The role will work closely with our training team supervisor, Digital Education and Access Lead and Digital content Team manager. The deployment trainers work closely with the Digital content creation team too so experience of e-learning creation is desirable.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is the Digital Education and Access Lead for the Deployment side of the Digital Services Clinical System Training Team and their main focus will be to manage the new training delivered to staff across the organisation in the use of clinical IT systems. In addition the post holder will also be a member of the Digital Services Product Management Team and will contribute to the account management and on-going support of new and existing clinical IT systems and the associated change control and configuration processes.

Training & Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to Postgraduate degree level or equivalent experience or training.
  • Recognised qualification in training or equivalent experience
  • Achieved an IT computer qualification (ECDL or equivalent).

Desirable

  • Trained in most NUH IT systems with the ability to demonstrate or extensive experience of use of these systems
  • ITIL Service Management foundation level
  • Microsoft Project qualification or training
  • PRINCE 2 foundation level or equivalent

  • Has expert knowledge of the majority of the core Clinical IT Systems used within the Trust.
