The role of the NRC Mental Health Occupational Therapist is integral to the patient journey working as part of the interdisciplinary team, alongside the Occupational Therapy and Psychological Health teams, in delivering effective mental health assessment and interventions to maximise patient rehabilitation outcomes. You will be an autonomous HCPC registered team member providing a high standard of assessment and treatment/management of patients, many of whom will have complex rehabilitation needs.

  • BSc Hons (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) registration
  • Evidence of maintaining professional competence through C.P.D.

Desirable

  • Member of relevant Specialist Interest Group
  • First line management course.
  • Clinical Educators Course.
  • Evidence of post-graduate training in complex rehabilitation/mental health

Experience

  • Broad based junior rotational experience across a range of clinical settings
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team, working within and across professional and organisational boundaries
