The role of the NRC Team Administration Assistant is integral to the patient journey and interdisciplinary team. This role helps to support the NRC team providing administrative and secretarial support to the team.

Planning for the NRC is in its advanced stages, and the building will be ready in the Autumn of 2025. This role will be temporarily based at our current unit Linden Lodge at City Hospital until we move to the70 bed NRC facility in summer 2025.

The successful candidate will support the NRC team by assisting in the day to day administration. We are looking for someone competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and experience of hospital systems including Webhiss, Careflow, DHR, NOTIS and HealthRoster is desirable.
We are looking to appoint a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills and be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will be able to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of a busy department.

Provide a full comprehensive admin and secretarial service to the NRC team.
Help to ensure the smooth day-to-day running and co-ordination of the Rehabilitation service.
Deal with telephone, e-mail (including monitoring of the departments general email boxes) and face-to-face enquiries clearly, promptly, efficiently and politely.
Responding to and resolving local issues as required and where appropriate following all relevant policies, procedures and guidelines, or escalating to the relevant member of the team, (taking comprehensive messages, when necessary) in a timely manner.
Support team members in administrative tasks as requested. For example, photocopying, scanning, compiling information packs, drafting papers, word processing, electronic correspondence formatting and typing requested information.
Update team systems such as annual leave, circulation lists and other team information.
