EUC Mobile Device Management Team Leader

Job summary

The EUC Mobile Device Management (MDM) Team Leader will be responsible for managing and maintaining all iOS devices across the whole organisation. You will be responsible for updating existing mobile device policies and creating new policy to meet the needs of our mobility strategy.

The EUC MDM Team Leader will also hold the responsibility for day-to-day supervision and general Human Resources-related responsibilities for our team of MDM Administrators.

This is a full time 37.5 hours per week position. The post holder will be required to attend site in person Monday to Friday on a rota basis between core operating hours of 08:00 - 17:00 excluding bank holidays.

Training and qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to Level 2 (National Qualifications Framework) or higher including English, Mathematics, Science and at least three other subjects. ICT technical qualification relevant to role. Mobile Device Management system training / qualification, e.g. Mobile Iron, inTune for mobile devices, or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Apple Certification Customer Services Skills training / qualification ITIL Foundation Level Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification

Experience

Essential

  • At least of 3 years of proven work experience in a busy ICT operational team. In-depth technical knowledge of Apple iOS devices, including provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting and remote management. Technical knowledge of administering an Enterprise Mobile Device Management system. At least 2 years proven experience of supervising a team. In depth knowledge and proven work experience in a Mobile Device Management role. Hands on experience in ICT security systems, including endpoint devices management, anti-virus software and data leak protection. Experience of successfully delivering technical solutions on time. Has experience of working with teams and individuals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds to solve IT problems Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a Healthcare organisation. Experience of supporting an ICT user base of 10000+ users. Knowledge of policies such as Freedom of Information Act 2000, Data Protection Act 1998 and Computer Misuse Act 1990.
