This is a opportunity for a 9 month secondment opportunity for a full or part time Band 5, Theatre Practitioner in Gynaecology Theatres
Are you an enthusiastic person who is passionate about patient safety and quality and would like to further develop your clinical skills?
Ensuring the highest standards of care and safety within the Gynaecology Theatres and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary teams, you will be working with a team of practitioners who care about the speciality and the patients they look after.
We are a forward thinking team and find new ways of working and have been nominated for Innovation awards.
The team work Monday - Friday 7.30-6 over a 3 or 4 day week
Main duties of the job
Supporting colleagues in the Oncology and Benign fields of Gynaecology surgery. Fostering a learning culture to ensure multi-disciplinary team working, to achieve agreed, common goals and outcomes across the service.
Flexibility, good communication and organisational skills are essential.
Enthusiasm and motivation to find ways to improve the service.
Previous theatre experience is essential and an anaesthetic qualification is desirable.
