Head & Neck division has an exciting opportunity to join the Head and Neck Oncology CNS team. The role includes supporting patients with Head and Neck (ENT & Maxillofacial) and Thyroid cancer from diagnosis, through treatment and follow up or palliative / end of life care.

Main duties of the job
To provide specialist nursing care in maintaining and developing a quality service for H&N and Thyroid cancer patients
To take the key worker responsibility for a caseload of patients requiring specialist nursing/ oncology care.
To provide specialist training as required to support junior staff, ensuring the provision of high quality care in the most efficient and safe manner in accordance with Directorate and Hospital policies and procedures
To support band 7 CNS in setting up nurse led clinics and in service improvement and in the smooth running of the service
To support patients and families affected by H&N Cancer
To work closely with other health care providers including wider oncology team, District Nurses, GPs, Palliative team.
