An exciting opportunity has arisen on C31/Surgical Admissions Unit for a band 6 Deputy Charge Nurse/ Sister.

C31 is a fast paced unit specialising in Surgical Emergency Admissions. We are looking for a dedicated, patient focused and reliable senior nurse to provide commitment to the highest standards of care for our emergency admissions.

Main duties of the job
You will be self-driven, innovative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be highly motivated with a desire to provide the highest standards of care, whilst demonstrating clear leadership. You will provide support and supervision of nursing and non-nursing staff; assist in maintaining and monitoring of standards through Nursing Metrics Dashboard, Essence of Care Benchmarks and Trust Infection Control Audits and standards
