Job summary
The post holder will be a proactive role model who leads in the clinical environment on the provision of clinical education and assessment of competence in Critical Care and CCOT. You will play an essential role in the development and implementation of education to ensure evidence based quality care is delivered to our patients

The post holder will:Work along side nurses and other health care practitioners to ensure the provision of high quality safe and effective evidence based care in accordance with local, divisional and hospital policies and procedures
Develop and deliver training and educational programmes and optimise learning activities for practitioners
They will demonstrate experience in teaching and an understanding of the different learning stylesThe applicant will provide evidence of a leadership role and team management within a Critical Care or CCOT setting .The post holder should be a registered nurse with a degree in nursing or health related studies.
They should have completed post registration education qualification in critical care together with a mentor /assessor qualification. They should have current experience in education deliveryThey should have recent experience in Critical Care or CCOT, both care of level 2 & 3 patients.Assist in identifying and defining areas for improvement and develop targeted teaching
