Nottingham University Hospitals Trust has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Deputy Medical Director due to retirement. We are seeking a driven individual dedicated to making a difference to patient care and staff satisfaction.

Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will work to support the Medical Director to deliver high quality care by providing senior clinical leadership capability and capacity. Along with other Deputies, your portfolio will cover to deputise for the Medical Director. You will have the opportunity to hold professional portfolio responsibilities including external partnerships, development of consultants, medical leaders, locally employed doctors and medical mentorship. The post holder will work closely with the DPME in the ABC wellbeing programme. The Medical Director is supported by a team to include PA support.

- Consultants or Specialty Doctors/ Associate Specialists with at least 3 years' experience in a substantive role
- Full Registration with GMC without any conditions or restrictions on licence to practise
- Evidence of participation in annual appraisal
- Evidence of training in medical mentoring/ coaching

- Formal management/leadership or education qualification
- Formal mentoring/coaching qualification
- Experience of being mentored or coached
