Job summary

Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH) is pleased to announce a vacancy for a band 5 nurse in our children's haemodialysis unit. We are looking for a registered children's nurse with the ambition to expand their skills in this highly specialist unit.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a small team of nurses caring for children needing dialysis and plasma exchange.

As a registered nurse at Nottingham Children's Hospital you will be expected to maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.

You will motivate colleagues, champion children's and family's safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.

Nottingham Children's Hospital will support you in your role and provide the relevant education, training and support for you to deliver high quality care.

About us

Nottingham Children's Hospital is set within the vibrant city of Nottingham known for its many historical sites and lively music scene. The children's hospital is housed within the Queens Medical Centre campus and has 116 inpatient beds across 8 inpatient wards covering all specialities.

The haemodialysis unit is part of the East Midlands, East of England and South Yorkshire kidney network (EMEESY)and you will work closely with the in-patient ward, a specialist nurse team and a wider multi-professional team.
