Job description

Job responsibilities

You would be based at the CDC to support some nurse led clinics or Paediatric clinics with a CSW working with you. You are expected to work 30 hrs over Mon Fri and flexibility to support the different clinics requires a varied work pattern. This will be planned ahead but you will not have the same working days/ hours every week this is to enable all clinics to be covered and staff to be supported out in the Community.

We plan monthly team meetings and the Band 6 nurse will be at the CDC once per week, however during an Induction period this will be increased to support the appointed nurse (to be negotiated). There is additional ICT training that will be required and further additional training and support to develop the role, to be able to support the band 6 with completing tasks such as staff appraisals, managing and ordering equipment and coordinating calibration. You will attend any additional training to be able to complete specific link roles and to be able to give training to the CSWs.
