Job summary

This diverse role will see the successful post-holder manage our learning management system, whilst using their creativity to develop, prepare and publish e-learning materials. As part of learning and development team, the applicant will use their experience in digital learning using a variety of authoring and media technologies, underpinned by good instructional design, to create innovative digital products and services to support the education and training at the Trust. The post holder will be highly organised and able to manage multiple competing priorities and projects while delivering work to the highest standard.

Main duties of the job

Managing the effective and efficient running of the Learning Management System.

Designing, constructing and implementing e-learning applications and courses that support the Trust's objectives.

Providing the end-user support for e-Learning and technology support.

Overseeing the development of strategies and the adoption of technologies that leverage digital media to instruct and educate staff across the organisation.

Managing the Technology and Systems Co-ordinator.

Supporting the L&D Manager with exploring innovative ways to provide accessibility to training for our employees.

Providing data and feedback on the usage of the LMS, whilst offering solutions to technological barriers.

Job responsibilities

To own and drive the maintenance and development of the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure that end users are engaged and can navigate content easily and intuitively.

Support and grow a portfolio of leading digital learning products and services to learners across NUH.
